Matt Bear- 'It is with the most humbled of attitudes that I would like to thank all those amazing people around me that provide me with the support, inspiration and stoke to be the best person I can be, You Know who you are- THANK YOU!'.  Matt has always had a passion for the ocean. He fell in love with Hand shaping Surfboards during a recovery period from a spinal surgery, he is continuously spending countless hours refining the craft. 'I consider each build an artwork'. From shaping, to glassing and sanding, each part of the process is completed with a keen eye, a light touch and attention to detail. Matt is always keen to talk board performance concepts and of course test them out!

Dan Smith- Originally from Mount Maunganui, currently studying up In Auckand, Dan is forever on the search! Dan has a proven track record of pure stoke! 'I love life, putting all that I can into each goal I have, Surfing is a huge part of my life, whether its sitting out the back or sitting in the pocket, the stoke I receive from those moments is unreal, nothing else matters, FREEDOM' Dan is a highly motivated friendly individual, if you spot him out Moari Bay say hey!

Brie Downey- A Red Beach local living on the east coast of Auckland. 'With the East not having much surf, I travel - Maori Bay, Piha, Te Arai, Forestry, is typically where I head. 

Brie loves anything that involves a board; skateboarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, surfing, and also surf life saving.

I aspire to travel around the world and New Zealand, taking in the beautiful scenery, eating delicious food, and meeting some awesome people'.

Brie is a charger, often opting for some gnar waves she pushes those around her to step their game up for sure.

Tyla Rose- Is a saltwater veined kid, living just a short drive from Auckland’s west coast beaches and often spotted in the Coromandel. Tyla is a prominent member in the surf lifesaving scene! 
When She's not in the ocean, you’ll find her managing Project Wai, practicing yoga & adventuring.

Chasing happiness is far better than chasing something materialistic or chasing an outcome that may not even be a representation of how well you’ve done for yourself. For me, I just wanna be the best version of myself as often as I possibly can, regarding sport, health and fitness, study, surfing, everything!!! If you put 100 percent in, you’ll get 100 percent out.

Grady Forbes- The Local Mount Grom. Grady is the youngest member of the BearBones SurfCo family. When he's not at school, he's focussed on his sports (Surfing, Rugby and VolleyBall)  Grady has the making of a true athlete, with the attitude to go far. Often found peering into the shaping bay asking questions with curious eyes.

Mitch Cowdrey- Mitch Is one young 'go getter'! With competition rife between his brothers Mitch has ambition, goals and the drive to succeed. This budding Entrepreneur has founded 'Surely Clothing' a seriously sweet style of Tees and clothing. Mitch is heavily involved in the Surf Life Saving Scene, often taking the podium at competitions while representing the Bay and Sonic Surf Craft (KneeBoards) 

Jarrod 'TOOTS" Toomey- Originally from the Raglan, this hearty brother now raising a family in the Mount, Toots is well known in the surf industry, having been sponsored and competed in the past. Toots lays down HEAVY turns and surfs with power...a perfect test pilot for BearBones Boards.
